How to play Maze Adventure

Choose a round of Maze Adventure and settle into its rules. Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Read the objective before making your first input. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Notice the feedback

Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Return to the instructions when a step is unclear.

Step by step

  1. Start from the upper-left cell.
  2. Move through openings using arrow keys or direction buttons.
  3. You may also tap a neighbouring cell connected by an open passage.
  4. Reach the gold exit or generate a new maze.

Controls

Arrow keys, on-screen direction buttons, or a click/tap on an adjacent reachable cell. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Return to the rules if the result is unexpected.

A useful example

If a wall blocks the cell to your right, try another opening; the token cannot move through walls. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Verify the rule before continuing.

Watch out for this

Only immediately adjacent cells can be reached in one move. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
